sounds like you should use a internally resisted coil with the pertronics system .thanks for the clarification,thats why i love this site even an old dog like me can learn something.thanks andy, btw went on pertronics website it states operating range for 12 volt system is 8-16 volts wouldent a resistor placed before the distributor bring it below the spec.?
