Deep down, I know that the warped body is not good. Didn't think about having it turned flat.

What about the gasket? Is there something better than the Fel-Pro material that I used? Why did my gaskets distort so much? Even if the body is flat, will I still need to be concerned about the gasket swelling, shrinking, and distorting into a potato chip? I'm not looking forward to a gas geyser after the truck sits for a few months.
