Also, what's driving this crazed (?) notion of mine is that my quick survey of the trucks-for-sale landscape suggests that '54 or '55.1 3800 longbeds are rare as hens teeth... whereas there seem to be plenty of 4100s around, at attractive prices, even if I'd need to add a bed.
