#76851 05/01/2007 9:39 AM | Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 586 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 586 | 4 degrees advance is a good place to start.With the fuels the way they are today,I would advance the timing (counterclockwise)until it pings under a load then retard it until it just stops pinging.You will get better fuel mileage and performance.The 292 is a workhorse.
