| | | | Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Jul 2001 Posts: 3,887 | Tiny - it makes a minor difference with the Ranco temp control valve - the factory install results in the incoming hot water being shut off where it enters the core rather than where it leaves, and allows the temp sensing tube to control the Ranco properly
