Removing all of the rust can reveal other issues, like holes! grin

A new tank is the long term fix, but as for gettin it out & about for "testing", I used a portable 3-gallon boat tank. Run the tube to your fuel line & set it in the bed or on the passenger side floor. They're cheap, very safe, & no sloshing fuel to worry about.

I dig all cars, old and new, whether they were hammered out of American iron, German steel, or Japanese tin cans. Being unable to appreciate them all is missing out on a world of great things.
