The 235 was running rough. I rebuilt the Rochester B with a napa kit, Adjusted the float per the specs. 1-9/32" gap. I cleaned the carb with a spray carb cleaner (methanol). The engine is still running rough after the carb rebuild. I have to choke it to get t the engine started. The engine would not idle. I changed the plugs and reset the points. This helped a little. The engine will idle now. It seens to be trunning rich as at an idle the exhaust is gray. The engine sometimes pops on acceleration. Could it be timing or did i mis something in the carb rebuild? is there an easy way to clean the passage ways through the carb body?
