Not that this is the most important thing on my mind but
Does the1954 235 have a breather cap. This engine did not have a cap for the valve cover so I used the flat cap from the 216.

The valve cover has slits in it I assume for pressure relief.

Does it make a difference if the valve cover has a flat cap and not a breather?
