I've always used Berryman chem-dip carburetor and parts cleaner. chem-dip You can get it at any auto parts store,lasts a long time.Follow the directions on the can and all will be good.
Rodchesters are easy to rebuild,I always have to make notes about the two steel bb's inside,they are different in size.
