I'm using a push button switch from a modern dump truck,i have found one that fits up into the original rubber boot that was mounted on the floor.My'n is a 54 with a 350- v8 but i think this would work with any electric starter.
You can use a wire with gator clips to check where to place the switch in the wiring.
