| | | | Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 138 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 138 | I went to replace the shift bushing on my 57 for the 3 speed on the column today, and I only could use 2 of the 4 bushings I recieved from Jim Carter trucks. The bottom arms out of the transmission were not made to accept bushings, as the holes in them were just big enough for the shift linkage from the column box. Is this correct for a 57? The motor is out of a 60-something, could the tranny be the same story?
