Over the weekend, I took a gear assembly from a spare from the opposite door and used it to fix my drivers side. The spring in the gear was broke causing it to slip when rolling down. Rivets are not my friend as there is no access to replace one of the three for the housing. I welded that hole and used spare rivits from my wing window moulding for the other two. I was curious about the aftermarket kit and thought it may not be a good fit. I dont want to mess with regulators too often. Kind of tedious. | | |
