Hi! I'm getting ready to install my manifold, please offer any tips before I barge ahead.
The exaust is bolted to the intake just like it was when I removed it. I didn't separate the two pieces for fear of breaking the bolts. I didn't have the manifold surfaced, I'm hoping it will sit fairly square against the head without machine work.
I don't see how to reach the bolts with a torque wrench. I was planning to use a normal wrench and tighten by feel. 15 to 20 ft-lbs for the inner bolts and 25-30 ft-lbs for the inner bolts. Gaskets go on dry with the silver side towards the manifold.
Is there anything I should be aware of before getting started?
