As noted above I would not recommend doing what I did but when I pulled my '38 out of the barn it'd sat on four flat tires for over 20 years. They aired up so the wrecker could pull it home AND they held air for several months while I got her running. I then drove her to the county seat on the same tires to be inspected (VIN check) so I could get a tag. By the time I got home I noticed several chunks of rubber gone from one of the tires. I decided I'd pushed my luck far enough and got new rubber.
