Recent thread on engine stand. The bolt/hanger arrangement on various engine stands are quite possibly different. Some people have reported making a mounting plate/adapter to get their stand to attach to their engine. I have used several brands/styles of engine stands and have been able to find a way to get all of them to attach to a 216/235/261 blocks. In some cases, I have had to attach arms in the opposite orientation, bolting the stand-end of two arms to the block and bolting the block-end of those arms to the stand.
