| | | | Joined: May 2011 Posts: 91 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: May 2011 Posts: 91 | hey, couldn't salvage my 1941 chevy 235 straight six due to rust pitting on the #1 cylinder wall and corresponding block deck area. found a 1955 235 full oil pressure engine for $250. supposedly ran when it came out to be replaced by a V8. i also found an engine stand originally purchased from napa now selling for $65.00 locally on craigs list. will any engine stand work? if not, what do i look for? EVERYTHING is new to me.  thanx, marc | | |
