simple elegance. good choice of words. i have respect for those who designed and built the 51 that sleeps in the hillbilly garage. that said, i sorta marvel at the guys who self engineer and modify the old stuff to new, or sometimes better than new specs. it sorta in the eye of the beholder. then there's guys who re enginer the original engines to higher performance specs, or make them into hot rods of the era. it takes more than one ingredient to make a good pot of chili. some guys are anal about every nut and bolt being original, and i respect and undestand their motivations. it is, however, a big world, and there's plenty of differing veiwpoints.
yeah a stovebolt is a stovebolt, but in this case, a stovebolter ain't necessarily another guys stovebolter.
