There is nothing wrong with putting that engine in the truck unless you want to maintain complete originality. They are a good dependable engine & knock about 200 lbs. off the front of the truck. I agree with Joe. You can put a univerasal crossmember in it & use the factory type mounting. Everything will be there if you decide to go to a V-8, but you may like it the way it is after you work out the bugs.
