The weight of the engine is not the only factor that you should consider when buying an engine mount. A straight six engine's length affects the stability of that weight on the stand, and places a front-heavy stress on the stand (I know I am not expressing this well).

For safety and stability, and for ease of moving around the loaded engine stand, and for safe and easy rotation of the engine (very useful), get a 2,000lb stand that has a wider, stronger arms and base and wheels.

Here is an example of a 2,000 lb stand.

Someone posted that a 216/235/261 weights a little over 600 lbs.
