My Grandfather bought this truck new in 49 and my uncle drove it to high school. I have had it for about 25 years and it has been sitting for the past 15.
About 20 years ago the rear end went out and I installed the diff out of a 72 Coupe de Ville. At the same time I upgraded the front brakes to make the wheel patterns match up.

I bought a 74 Camaro out of a tow yard 15 years ago and kept everything but the body to install on this truck.

The plan is to make this into a decent driver and a sleeper from the outside.
This is my second 49, the first had a 327 shoe horned in but was stock other than that.
