Newbie question here...but it seems there are different uses of the word 'split' on the internet.
What are split rims and how do I identify them?
Will my '65 C30 1ton have split rims? (They look funky to me, but then they are also dually wheels.)
Also, can I get 8 bolt replacements from a junk yard?
What measurements do I need to worry about?
Lastly, can the bolts on my hub/drum/thingy be replaced? (They are really rusty to the point that they last turns of thread [near hub] are rusted off) I don't feel like trusting them.
All of these questions seem to impact my moving forward with the work on the brakes. Don't want to rebuild the brakes if I am going to have to do something drastic with the wheels/drums/etc.
(Please tell me something that isn't scary...
