| | | Joined: May 2011 Posts: 15 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: May 2011 Posts: 15 | I have a 48 Chevy PU. I am not sure what engine is in it. I was told it has a 235 and it's not the original engine. I need to make sure. I tried researching it but I'm still not certain.
The valve cover has 4 screws, two on each side of it holding it down.
The numbers just above the starter on the block say:
072I589F54Z but these numbers don't seem to correspond to anything meaningful.
Can anybody steer me in the right direction?
