| | | | Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 11 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2011 Posts: 11 | we have a 1961 stepside apache. we took it off a blazer 4x4 frame which i personally would not have put the truck on. our question is will a 1966 short wheel base frame be a direct replacement for the 0riginal 1961 frame. mainly no moving any frame mounts or having to weld up new mounts.we found a 66 swb frame about a mile from our house. if anyone could give advice on this we would greatly appreciate any and all help. thanks so much!
