Hi everyone.
My name's Toby and I just pickup up a 55 gmc 100. it has a 248 and a four speed on the floor. it's an early second series that uses the smaller 1st series rear window. It had been sitting for only about 10 years according to the license plate.
I poured 2 gallons of gas into the tank. a little into the carb, and it fired right up. it has a one barrel holley. seems to run perfectly. I drove it around the yard and other than no brakes, it drove really well. This was all yesterday. last night I flat-bedded it home and this morning I started to take apart the brakes. I've rebuilt the original two front wheel cylinders, and I've removed the master cylinder.
I need to know how to remove the rear drums. anyone out there know?
