The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop Does anyone ever unstick and rebuild engines?

I have had some inlines brought to me where I told the owner I would try and see what I could do. Stove Oil and diesel work wonders if I can get the heads off. So far I have been able to save all I've worked with. In some cases I had to use sleeves in the cylinders but with the new sleeve designs that too isn't an issue until an engine is intended to turn very high RPM's.
