The V8 trucks came with rams-horn manifolds, and had the exhaust pipes routed up to them. I like to keep things simple:
I'd use reproduction 2.5-inch Rams Horn manifolds, the new Speedway rams horn manifolds, a set of shorty headers, or if you've got the front saddle-mount and no side mounts, I'd maybe go with some of the reproduction Fenton Tri-Y cast iron headers.
Unless you feel you NEED full-length headers. If that's the case... then I got nuthin.
