| | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 554 | I have made that mistake (along with every other possible painting issue). I am no expert but the painting "demonstrator" that work out of the PPG shop said for solid colors you could sand the clear with 800-1000 and shoot more base and then reclear. He said with metallics the clear should be removed. I am using a solid color and that system worked great for me.
