So, I'm wondering if you can upgrade that assembly to a '47 to '59 system using the parts on the attached Classic Parts page. That would be the offset rod and linkage rod. http://www.classicparts.com/Clutch-Parts/products/429/2/0I have three L shaped clutch offset release rods from various years and they are all the same.
