OK, I just got a flywheel and torus for an early (55-59) Hydramatic. The guy I got it from swears he unbolted it right off the back of a 265 Chevy V8. But it will not bolt up to any Chevy small block crank I have. It has a smaller center hole and the bolt pattern diameter for mounting it is smaller also. It has 6 bolt holes and 3 dowel pin holes. Any one know if there ever was a small block v8 with a different pattern?
