| | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 1,644 | Could be a worn out starter ring or a worn out starter pinion or both ,pull the starter and check the pinion ,and pull off the inspection cover from the bell housing and check the flywheel starter ring.
