Gmoniz, thanks for the info. I am going to start on my 51 changing the trans and rear center section this summer.
I also would like to have the bell reamed out but it is in the truck and I don't want to mess with that. I'm just going to have the retainer turned down and use the allen bolts and lock washers that they recomended in Classic Truck.
If you have more info about this swap, I would love to see anything that you want to share, because I know something will go wrong when I get into this. This will be my first major project on this truck since I've owned it.(16 yrs.)
