Here's what I've learned -- decent replacement hydraulic lifters are non-existent. There is someone up in Canada who can refurbish your old hydraulic lifters if in restorable shape. I can get you the contact details if this is what you are dealing with.
All of the aforementioned being said... I know too little about this topic to be chiming in if truth be told
