my ol truck gets run nearly every day of the year in any weather, and after about 15 years running E10 and minimal maintenance it still starts instantly and runs as well as can be expected from 50 year old technology, no "Salitic Acid" problem, whatever that may be .... and I would bet that the additives in ATF [really a gear lube] would play hell with modern engine sensor systems and void any warranty you might have

like Granpa sez, just drive it, problem solved, but if you're going to have gas engines that are only used part time, the best way to handle the sityation is to drain the system of all traces of gasoline -the tank, lines and carb- when putting it away for storage .... like the ol snowblower that sometimes doesn't get run for a couple years wink
