thanks for that link again tim. i brushed the casting numbers off last night but forgot to writedown the seventh digit, but with a date code of 1950, it kinda narrowed it down to a 1950 216. the cast number that i wrote down was 383549. 3835497 is a 42-53 216 and 3835491 is a 1954 235. thanks again!
