Hy Josh_53GMC, Welcome, if you would post the numbers from the door post we could tell you what it should be. You won't feel a lot of vacuum with the engine just cranking over, unless you completely cover the top of the carb, your vacuum accessories will not operate without the engine running, hope that helps.
