Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy buckaroo01,the insulator is there to prevent the carb from becoming too hot from heat that would be transfered to it from the intake/exhaust manifold if it were not there. The heat in the carb would start to heat the fuel and cause it to evaporate more quickly, possibly causing a fuel starvation problem, hope that helps. | | |
