oldschool56 I hooked mine up like this. I installed a relay on the firewall to handle the power to the transmission relay. I then installed a switch between the ground on the firewall relay and the govener. This switch allows you to turn power off to the relay. With the power switch on, the transmission relay will activate at about 28mph through the govener. You can also turn it off if needed. The dash switch also can be used as a kick down switch. When in over drive and you want to pass a car just trun off the switch and let off of the gas and you are in direct drive.
I then went to NAPA and got a heavy duty locking type throttle cable. I hooked the cable to the transmission lever to be able to disenguage the overdrive when nessary. Attach the outher end of the cable under the dash.
