Carter made AFB's in sizes from 400 CFM to 950 CFM.

I have put the 400's on a number of small engines successfully. While I have never put one on a 235, I have installed them on a Pontiac 195, and also a non-USA 134.

A 400 should work well on a 235. Although not sure I would want to put one on a 235 with an auto trans.
