| | | | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 | It sounds like you haven't found 4th gear yet. The gear ratios should be the same, and 4th gear is the same as 3rd gear in the 3 speed. It is 1:1 on both transmissions.
How many lugs do your rear wheels have? Perhaps a previous owner swapped a 3/4 or 1 ton rear in for more grunt. | | |
