I don't even have a filter on my truck. my 40 was like that. when i had a 270 for the 40 and the ashton rebuilt that is when i did the full flow conversion with a remote filter housing while the engine was dismantled. when i had the 59-235 rebuilt for the 51-6100 i decided for how much running time it would have i decided to just go with the bypass filter. i just got a dmv annual inspection last thursday on the 6100. total mileage for the year was just over 1000 miles. | | |
