I recently read an article in Old Cars magazine where the author strongly recommended not putting radials on rims made for bias tires. The claim was made the the rims aren't designed to withstand the stress radials will place on them and can fail. I don't claim to be an expert nor do I necessarily agree. In fact I don't know. I'm just passing on information.
