Oldtruck, the closest I found was #3994258 which is a 292 block. Where are the motor mounts and fuel pump? 230/250 mounts are center of the engine with the fuel pump under the distributor. The 292 has right side mount and fuel pump switched.
Old Chevy Guy, according to the 6 cylinder power manual, "The 1963 292 CID is approximately the same hight as the 235-261 and 19% lighter. Length is the same as the 194-250 CID." I had to move the firewall back a few inches for my 250 to clear when replacing a 216. You can move the radiator forwards. The fan will be lower, so watch the hight of the radiator as well. Joe
