Put it in the trans. & pull it back about an inch. Sometimes you can see the mark where the seal was riding. Raise the vehicle & put stands under the rear axle so it will be setting at driveing heigth. Measure from the center of where the U-joint will be at the trans to the same at the rear end. Take the yoke & old driveshaft to the trans. with the measurement & they will build it for you. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
