Hy Chevy3100_55_1st, welcome, please check to make sure that the master cylinder piston is being allowed to return to its completely released position. What I mean is there should be a small clearance between the pedal linkage and the master cylinder piston, and there should be a return spring on the brake pedal, hope that helps.
