For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 1,232 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 1,232 | See my recent results on mating a glass-bowl top to a metal-top bottom. Grigg and Tiny helped me make the union. I'm a dufus and definitely no expert, but if my Frankenpump continues to work, looks like it could be a cheaper / easier alternative to doing a rebuild. Don't know if you could pull the valves out of the top of the metal pump and put into the glass pump. The cork gaskets for the glass bowl are a couple of dollars at Chevs of the 40's and other suppliers.
