I got Wrenchbender's post from the other thread and using his turn the big bolt first then the little bolt advice...I have managed to tighten up the band.
There is a little bit of the friction material left. (Question!!! - is this probably asbestos??)
I adjusted the nuts on the respective bolts and tested by attempting to turn the drive shaft by hand.
It now seems to be adjusted. I'll know better once I get it out on the road for a test drive.
BTW - I was referred to Gooch Brake in KC for parts for this type of brake. They said they could help.
