Long story short: My 66 has the original washer pump. I thought I could change the top of the pump only to find the actual pump inside had disintegrated. I bought the replacement pump from LMC only to have more problems. The pump would not always turn on when pressing the button and when it did turn on, the wheel would turn, but not all the way to turn off the pump.
My question: I plan to use a universal pump next to the original inside the cab instead. Can I use any of the existing wires to power the pump or do I have to run new wires from the existing switch?
