'52 3100. I have a leaking fuel shut off valve (pet cock) and am wondering if there is any reason to keep the darn thing? What would be wrong (except not keeping it original)with just cutting the thing off and using a gas rated rubber fuel line? I really can't tell how it's attached either. If I should keep it, does anyone sell them new, or a rebuild kit? Thanks for any helpful info.
