A friend of mine has a 40 GMC COE that he is going to build a hauler out of. He plans to use a modern drivetrain (motorhome chassis). I spoke with him today about his progress and he said he has nearly everything removed that he is going to use and was talking about hauling the original chassis, complete with engine and trans, etc. to the scrap. I'm not sure what 6 cyl. is in it but I hate to see it just get crushed. If someone was interested I would be glad to try and help to save this chassis by getting you guys together. He says he just wants to clear the space so I think he would let it go pretty cheap. I can try and get engine #'s tomorrow or Monday if that would help. I don't think its even stuck!
If anyone is interested let me know, I really hate to see any old iron go to scrap.
