Well... I just bought 2 new 7.00-15 8-ply "D" bias Power King highway treads for the front of my 50 3600. I put 2 new Super Tractions on the back about 3 years ago. They probably have all of 750 miles on them, and run great.
I knew that the rear tires were made in China so I expected that for these new front tires. Nope: Thailand! Right on the side of the tires. The new tubes? Made in Korea. After I saw that I didn't even look at the flaps to see where they were made...
I know the Model T guys (complain) and moan all the time that all the tires available for their cars are made in Vietnam...
But it's not just antique stuff; A guy at work recently bought a new set for his late model F-150 and they were Hankooks, made in Korea. Go figure.
